In this Privacy Policy, we inform you about which personal data we process during your visit to our website and what rights you have. We refer to the definitions in Article 4 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the terms used.

    1. Visiting Our Website
      1. Scope of Data Processing

        This data is not stored together with other personal data.
      2. Purpose of Data Processing
        The temporary storage of your IP address by our web server is technically necessary to display the website. Your IP address must be stored for the duration of the session.
        The storage of the above data in log files ensures the functionality of our website. Additionally, this data helps us to optimize the website and ensure the security of our information technology systems (e.g., for attack detection). The data is not used for marketing purposes.
      3. Legal Basis for Data Processing
        The legal basis for the temporary storage of this data and the log files is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the operation and security of our website.
      4. Duration of Storage
        The above data is deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for achieving the purpose for which it was collected. For data collected to provide the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended.
        For data stored in log files, this is the case after a maximum of seven days. Further storage is possible if the data is required for legal purposes (e.g., for the clarification of attacks, misuse, or fraudulent activities). Data that must be kept for evidence purposes is excluded from deletion until the respective incident is finally clarified.
      5. Objection and Removal Option
        The collection of data for the provision of the website and its storage in log files is technically necessary for the operation of our website. Consequently, you have no right to object.

        You can contact us via our contact form and the provided email address. In this case, we store the personal data you provide (name, company, email address, and message).

        The processing of personal data serves us to handle the contact request.
      3. Legal Basis for Data Processing
        The legal basis for processing the data transmitted in the course of a contact request is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests of us as the controller). If the contact aims at the conclusion of a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
      4. Recipients
        The recipients of your personal data are our internal departments responsible for handling your request. We do not disclose your personal data to third parties unless you have expressly consented to the data transfer or we are legally obliged to disclose the data due to statutory provisions and/or official or judicial orders. No data transfer to a third country or international organization takes place.
      5. Duration of Storage
        The data transmitted to us is deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. For personal data from the input form of the contact form and those sent by email, this is the case when the respective conversation with the user has ended. The conversation is considered ended when the circumstances indicate that the relevant matter has been conclusively clarified and no legal retention periods exist.
      6. Objection and Removal Option
        You have the option to revoke the processing of your personal data at any time. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued. Please direct your revocation to the following email address: info@optitrust.io. All personal data stored in the course of contacting us will be deleted in this case.

      1. Scope of Data Processing
        You can subscribe to our free newsletter on our website, which informs you about the most important news about our products. To subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address, first name, and last name. Optionally, you can provide your salutation, title, and company.
      2. Purpose of Data Processing
        We process your personal data for sending the newsletter.
      3. Legal Basis for Data Processing
        The legal basis for processing the data after subscribing to the newsletter is your consent according to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
      4. Recipients of Data
        Your personal data is transferred to our marketing department. The newsletter is sent internally. We do not transfer your data to third parties unless required by law or you have given explicit consent.
      5. Data Transfer to a Third Country
        Your personal data is not transferred to a third country or international organization.
      6. Objection and Removal Option
        You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time, i.e., revoke your consent. A corresponding link to unsubscribe is included in each newsletter. Alternatively, you can contact us via email at info@optitrust.io
        The data you provided for subscribing to the newsletter will be deleted when you unsubscribe. Data stored for other purposes remains unaffected.

      Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on your computer (e.g., PC, tablet, smartphone) when you visit the website. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain malicious software such as viruses or Trojans.
      Cookies can store personal data, particularly the IP address. However, this does not mean that we gain immediate knowledge of your identity.

    We take technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of data processing in accordance with the state of the art. Please note that SSL/TLS encryption is only activated during data transmissions over the internet when the key symbol appears in the lower menu bar of your browser window, and the address begins with https://.     We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy to adapt it to changed legal situations or changes in services and data processing. This applies only to statements about data processing.
